We had an amazing dining experience at Shahi Viraasat in Rajasthan! We were eager to try authentic Dal Baati Churma. Thanks to the warm hospitality of Awasthi Ji, we got exactly what we were looking for. The flavors were spot on—rich, perfectly spiced, and truly traditional. A special shoutout to Lakhan Singh for his exceptional service; he made sure everything was just right. The attention to detail and genuine care made our meal even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone craving an authentic Rajasthani experience!
Authentic Rajasthani taste in dal bati choorma. Lehsun chatni is must try. Mr. Titu has best hospitality and serving style is unique.
Stopped for lunch at Shahi Virasat (RHS) during my recent drive on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. I’ve eaten here before and the food quality remains consistently good. This time, the place was packed—likely due to Janmashtami and the weekend rush—which led to longer wait times. The staff was trying their best; Kapil, our waiter, was polite and helpful. However, the person managing orders struggled with the crowd—tables weren’t cleaned promptly and service felt disorganized. Despite the delay, the food was worth it. I’ve had their dal baati choorma before and it’s a must-try. Overall, a good experience, just be prepared for a wait during peak hours.
Shahi Virasat on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway is a delightful place to stop for a hearty meal. The ambiance captures a royal, traditional vibe that perfectly complements the dining experience. Their tandoori paratha was the highlight of my visit—perfectly cooked, with a crispy yet soft texture and a smoky flavor from the tandoor. It was generously stuffed and paired beautifully with the accompanying curries and raita. You can tell they take pride in their preparation. The service was prompt and courteous, and the staff made sure the tables were clean and ready despite the bustling crowd. The prices are reasonable for the quality and taste, making it worth every penny. If you’re on the expressway and looking for a memorable meal, Shahi Virasat is highly recommended!
My Kind of Rest Stop You know what makes a rest area perfect? Kulhad tea! And this place has it, plus a good restaurant, comfy seating, and quick service. We hit it on a less busy day, so there was plenty of space. Seriously, the dosa was good, the sambhar was a bit sweet though. A definite come once again place!"
Absolutely loved the Rajasthani Thali price 470/- Green Salad price 70/- Loved each item in the thali.Very well prepared, not at all spicy or oily, opted for bajra roti as our bread choice. Rahul was very good at customer service. Made our lunch more memorable with authentic rajasthani flavour and kind service with better attention to simple details around speaking well and serving better, hygeine, cleanliness, good experience. Must try when you are on Jaipur Highway
